We all have pet peeves, right?
Some of mine:
* Men who wear beige sun visors. It’s not only dorky, it makes them look douchey. 
* People who will Tweet/Facebook Bible verses, then tweet passive aggressive angry Tweets/Facebook status. Of course, we all have the freedom to Tweet and Facebook whatever we want, but I get annoyed when I see something like this:
“I am praising God for blessing me with {insert something sweet}. I’m off to church to give him all the glory!”
Then a few hours (or days) later this type of tweet:
“I will just have to fuck them over like they did me!!!!”
Not that all Christians are suppose to be saints 24/7, but geesh, I just don’t like it. Time to click “unfollow!”
And those are a few of my annoyances, what are some of yours?
* Never got the visor look in the first place. But sideways? Upside-down? Douchey!
ReplyDelete* Sunglasses on the back of the head: Guilty. Been there. Not so often now, because I do another douchey thing instead, and that's me using my sunglasses as a makeshift hairband.
* As for the religion on one's sleeve thing: it does bother me sometimes. It used to bother me more, but I've put it into the same perspective as the folks who will update with "Chocolate cupcakes! SQUEE!" one moment and then "they only have chocolate sprinkles, not rainbow ones. FML" the next. It's about inconsistencies in general.
Where it gets personal, however, is when someone is targeting ME for my belief system that may be different from his/hers. That usually warrants an unfollow.
I can't stand it when someone hooks their keychain onto a belt loop. Something about that just drives me crazy!
ReplyDeleteI hate when I'm the passenger in a car and the driver doesn't turn on the windshield wipers when it rains, or doesn't turn them off when the rain is done.
Also, when I'm ordering through the drive-thru and the employee doesn't let me finish my sentences.
I'm sure I have a lot more. But I can't think any others right now.

Becky- The drive through thing, ANNOYING! I hate when I order one thing, and then they give me the total and ask me to pull around. I'm like "Whoa, I have a car full of people, hang on there buddy, there is a lot more to come!"
And the belt loop hooky thing, very douchey IMHO.
My current annoyance is people being super stubborn about every little thing. Gah! It figures I married a Taurus.
